Opportunity opened for citizens to re-register
A copy of the ID card or a statement confirming identity should also be submitted with the registration form
The form will be accepted from 8:30am to 3:00pm on working days

The Elections Commission (EC) has opened the opportunity for citizens to register to vote in an island other than the one they are registered to.

The deadline to re-register is August 11.

The re-registration form should be submitted to the election centre if in Male’ City, the island and city councils, the first floor of the Hulhumale’ youth centre, and the mobile station at the Villimale’ ferry terminal.

A copy of the ID card or a statement confirming identity should also be submitted with the form, which will be accepted from 8:30am to 3:00pm on working days, from 9:30am to 3:00pm on non-working days and from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on Friday.
