Ex-Defense Minister and MP Riyaz brought to capital city for doctor's consultation

Former Defense Minister Colonel (Retired) Mohamed Nazim and Member of Parliament for Kinbidhoo constituency Abdulla Riyaz have been brought to capital city Malé for a consultation with an ophthalmologist.
RaajjeMV understands that the two high-profile political detainees were brought to the capital city for the eye specialist appointment at Eyecare Opticals at noon on Wednesday.
Although Nazim and Riyaz were given an appointment with an eye specialist at the eye clinic, it is not yet clear for what the two were diagnosed.
RaajjeMV was unable to attain a comment from the Maldives Correctional Service (MCS) regarding the matter.
This is the first time the lawmaker has been consulted with an eye specialist since his arrest, with Nazim having been brought for an eye appointment previously as well.
