FSM amends fuel service regulation for stations in Malé
FSM will now provide service to two-wheeled vehicles from the petrol station in Maafannu and Henveiru
FSM’s third station in capital city Malé, located near the state-run STELCO headquarters, will now only supply to four-wheeled vehicles

The State Trading Organization has amended its fuel service policies at petrol stations in capital city Malé, operated by the state-run Fuel Supply Maldives (FSM).

FSM will now provide service to two-wheeled vehicles from the petrol station in Maafannu, near the Indira Gandhi Memorial hospital and in Henveiru.

FSM’s third station in capital city Malé, located near the state-run STELCO headquarters, will now only supply to four-wheeled vehicles.

STO has not revealed whether or not this change is permanent. Prior to this, all of FSM’s stations in capital city Malé provided service to all vehicles.

This change coincides with ongoing concern about waste accumulation in the area.
