Housing Ministry to halt accepting shelter program form submissions for Eid al-Fitr
Flat forms were accepted from 10:30 a.m to 01:30 p.m. and from 09:00 p.m. till 11:00 p.m. every day during Ramadan
Forms will not be accepted for three days from Friday onward
Forms will be accepted during the same time they were accepted in Ramadan, during the six days of fasting that follows Eid-Al-Fitr

The Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure has announced that form submissions under the state’s shelter program will be halted for a period of three days from Friday onwards.

Media coordinator at the ministry, Ahmed Fazaal said that while Eid-Al-Fitr is on Friday, accepting forms will be halted for a period of three days. According to Fazaal, forms will be accepted during the six days of fasting that follows are Eid-Al-Fitr at the same times forms were being accepted during Ramadan.

Flat forms were accepted from 10:30 a.m to 01:30 p.m. and from 09:00 p.m. till 11:00 p.m. every day during Ramadan.

The ministry had declared that form submissions will be accepted from the 03rd of June till the 31st of July under the shelter program in Rannabandeyri Malaam of Dharubaaruge. Applicants do not need to wait in long queues to submit their forms, they can choose the more convenient way of taking tokens that are issued through the Queue Bee application.

Out of the 7000 flats that are being constructed in phase 2 of Hulhumale’, 1000 has been allotted for civil servants, 1000 for wedded couples between ages 18 – 40, 1000 for unregistered Male’ residents, 1,044 for registered Male’ residents, 475 units for doctors and nurses, 625 for teachers, 500 for single mothers, 200 for the disabled, 600 for officers of police and military, 256 for poverty-stricken in Maafannu ward of capital city Male’, 300 for those who were unable to receive TATA flats or flats in Gulhifalhu.
