The boy was rushed to the Fuvahmulah Atoll Hospital upon injury, he had however been brought to the capital city on Wednesday since a neurologist was not present at Fuvahmulah Atoll Hospital then.

According to information received by RaajjeMV from a resident of the island, the teenager had exited the classroom to dispose off something and four other students had blocked his way as he was headed back in.
