Hajj corporation extends deadline for Umrah pilgrimage registration
The initial date set for this year's Umrah registration was the 15th of April.

Maldives Hajj Corporation has extended the deadline for Umrah Pilgrimage registration and payments.
According to the Hajj Corporation, the Umrah Pilgrimage that has been scheduled for the last 15 days of the approaching holy month of Ramadan 1439 and the deadline for registration and payments has been extended till the 30th of April.
The cost for this year's Umrah pilgrimage is set at MVR 37,965 which according to the corporation is MVR 2,000 less than last year.
Forms for enrolling in the pilgrimage will be accepted between working hours, from 08:00 to 12:30 pm on week days,
Addiditonally, groups of four will get a discount of MVR 1,000 and groups of ten get discounts up to 50% including a special discount for children under 12.
Persons who pay for their package and do not require the corporation's 'Umrah Kit' will get an additional MVR 1,000 discount according to the corporation.
