Mariyam Shiuna, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Maldives Pension Administration Office, has been suspended from her post.
According to some media reports, the decision to suspend Shiuna follows grievances held against her by several members of the Pension Office board. However, no official authority has yet disclosed the specific reason for her suspension.
Shiuna assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the Pension Office in April 2023.
Prior to assuming a senior position at the Pension Office, Shiuna also served as the President of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
