EyeCare appointed sole “ZEISS Vision Expert” in Maldives
EyeCare has officially partnered with ZEISS to become the exclusive ZEISS Vision Expert in the Maldives. The collaboration introduced the ZEISS VISUFIT 3D scanning technology to provide personalized, high-quality lens measurements and reduce digital eye strain. This partnership aims to elevate local healthcare standards by offering Maldivians access to world-class optical innovations and advanced diagnostic services previously only available in developed countries.

EyeCare, the leading and most comprehensive eye care service provider in the Maldives, has partnered with ZEISS, a globally renowned brand in optical science, to become the exclusive ZEISS Vision Expert in the country.
The partnership was officially announced on 25 June 2026, during a special ceremony held at EyeCare’s main hospital in Malé City. During the event, the capabilities of ZEISS VISUFIT technology were showcased to health sector professionals, business leaders and members of the media.
This partnership represents a significant milestone in EyeCare’s ongoing efforts to provide world-class eye care and advanced lens technology to the people of the Maldives. As a result, Maldivians will now have access to personalized services specifically tailored to the individual needs of every customer.
At the ceremony, the Minister of Health, Family and Welfare, Geela Ali officially inaugurated the ZEISS VISUFIT digital machine, which features the latest modern technology. This device utilizes 3D scanning to assist in selecting the most accurate measurements and comfortable options for spectacles. In addition to this, high-quality ZEISS lenses, designed to reduce eye strain caused by modern digital lifestyles, are now available through EyeCare.

The Managing Director of EyeCare, Dr. Zahir, stated that providing Maldivians with the highest level of technology available in developed countries is a key objective of EyeCare. He further noted that this partnership would offer customers a unique service experience integrated with ZEISS’s latest innovations.
