A fisherman who went missing while out at sea on a fishing vessel from GDh. Gadhdhoo has been found dead following a search operation.
According to a police media official, a report was filed at approximately 05:40 AM on the 7th of this month regarding a man who went missing while out on a fishing excursion.
Following a search operation by the police to locate the missing individual, he was discovered underwater and subsequently transported to Gdh. Gadhdhoo. The Gdh. Gadhdhoo Health Centre has confirmed that the man was already deceased upon arrival at the facility.
The victim of this incident has been identified as 44-year-old Ishaq Rasheed, a resident of Asia in Gdh. Gadhdhoo.
The police are currently investigating the matter.
