Immigration announces service hours for the final ten days of Ramadan

While passport applications can be submitted 24 hours a day via the Imuga portal during the final ten days of Ramadan, Maldives Immigration has scheduled physical passport collection in the Greater Male' area from 9:15 am to 1:00 pm. Additionally, specific operating hours have been designated for passport and visa services at regional offices across various cities and islands.

Maldives Immigration has announced the service hours and operational guidelines for the final ten days of this year's Ramadan.

The announcement details the specific service hours and locations for passport, visa, and maritime transport services.

Maldives Immigration has announced that passport applications can be submitted 24 hours a day through the IMUGA portal. However, for passport collection at the Male’ and Hulhumale’ immigration offices, queue numbers will be issued via the Qubee application from 9:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. daily, except on Fridays. On Fridays, queue numbers will be issued from 9:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Passport collection services in Addu City will be available daily from 09:15 am to 12:00 pm. In other cities and islands across the atolls, passport collection services will be provided from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on specifically designated days.

Services will be available in Kulhudhuffushi City on March 9, 10, 15, 16, and 17, while Fuvahmulah City will be served on March 10, 15, and 17. In Thinadhoo City, services will be provided on March 9, 12, and 19; in HA. Dhidhdhoo on March 9, 11, and 18; in L. Fonadhoo on March 10, 12, and 17; and in Dh. Kudahuvadhoo on March 10, 15, and 17. Additionally, passport collection services are scheduled for March 9 in Sh. Funadhoo and B. Eydhafushi.

Maldives Immigration has announced that individuals requiring passport services for emergencies or urgent situations can make arrangements by contacting their hotline at 9555333.

Regarding visa services, applications for e-visas can be submitted through the Imuga portal. Maldives Immigration’s main office, located on the eighth floor of the Star Cloud building in Male', will be open on all working days from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Additionally, services from the Immigration Enforcement and Compliance Division will be available daily, except for Fridays, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Maritime and seaport services are scheduled to be provided across three shifts.

On days other than Friday, services will be available from 5:00 am to 12:00 pm, from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm, and from 8:00 pm to 4:00 am. On Fridays, services will be provided from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, from 8:00 pm to 4:00 am, and from 5:30 am to 8:00 am.

During this period, the regional seaports of Kulhudhuffushi, Uligan, and Hithadhoo will provide services from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
