Yameen elected President of PNF; Zane and Jameel named Vice Presidents
Yameen's son Zane and lawyer Jameel were elected as two Vice Presidents unopposed


Senior positions elected during PNF's first national assembly.
Former President Abdulla Yameen has been elected as the President of the People’s National Front (PNF).
The elections took place during the party’s first national assembly, held on Thursday night at Artificial Beach. Several key positions within the party were filled during the event.
Yameen was elected as President, while his son, Zane Abdulla Yameen, and his lawyer, Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed, were elected as the two Vice Presidents. All three were appointed unopposed, as no other candidates contested for these positions.
Mohamed Maleeh Jamal was elected as Secretary General, and Ahmed Musthafa as Treasurer, both without a vote. Ali Shiyaan was elected as the party’s Registrar.
Fourteen individuals were also elected as Senators of the PNF for a one-year term.
