As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, Ooredoo Maldives has announced a special collaboration with renowned local music group Habeys Boduberu to launch an exclusive four-week Boduberu class.
The telecommunications giant revealed that this unique initiative offers music enthusiasts a rare opportunity to explore the rich rhythms of Maldivian heritage under the expert guidance of one of the country’s most celebrated Boduberu bands.
Designed to promote cultural appreciation and community engagement, the program promises an immersive journey into the traditional sounds and spirit of Boduberu.
The Boduberu classes will be held on four consecutive Saturdays, August 16, 23, 30 and September 6, from 8pm to 11pm at the Ooredoo Maldives Headquarters, fourth floor. Open to individuals aged 18 and above, the program is limited to a maximum of 20 participants to ensure a focused and immersive learning experience.
Participation in the Boduberu class is free of charge, with only 20 slots available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Interested individuals aged 18 and above can register online, with registration closing on 16 August 2025 at 11:59pm.
