The Maldives Police Service (MPS) has revealed that they have confiscated the phones of all individuals for whom phone seizure orders were obtained in connection with the case of a woman falling onto the roof of H. Mithaaz in the early hours of April 18.

Police revealed this information in a message shared with media outlets.

In the message sent to confirm the confiscation of phones, police said that the phones of all individuals for whom seizure orders were obtained in connection with the case have now been brought under police custody, totaling nine people's phones.

The person who fell and was injured on the roof of H. Mithaaz is 21-year-old Hawwa Yumnu Rasheed. She was with Raud Ahmed Zilal, 21, at the time of the incident.

Raud has since been arrested under a court order in connection with the case. When presented before the court for his remand hearing, he was given a five-day detention period.

Police told the court that according to the investigation, there was a dispute between Raud and Yumnu that night. They also stated that shortly after the incident of Yumnu's fall, when Raud was asked about her whereabouts, he said he didn't know and that she was believed to have fallen.
