Hotelier Maldives Awards
Voting for the Hotelier Maldives Awards 2025, organized by Bestbuy Maldives (BBM) has been publicly opened.
The public voting, which runs from March 25 to April 25, is an important part of the awards ceremony slated for May 2025.
The awards, held for the first time back in 2024, received over 300 nominations and more than 100,000 votes. By the end of this year's nomination period, over 450 nominations had been received.
Four new categories have been introduced for the 2025 awards; Watersports Personality of the Year, Diving Personality of the Year, Airport Representative of the Year, and Resort Manager of the Year.
The judging process, which took place from February 20 to March 15, will combine judges' marks and public votes. Of these, 60 percent will be allocated to judges' marks and 40 percent to public votes.
Through voting, the public will have the opportunity to cast their votes for extraordinary individuals working in the Maldives' tourism and hospitality sector.
The awards ceremony will be held as part of a very special event scheduled for May 2025. BBM states that details on voting for industry professionals and the general public will be available on the Hotelier Maldives website and social media channels.
