Hussain Zuhury, who held the position of Deputy Managing Director of Fenaka Corporation, has resigned from the position.

In a post made on social media regarding his resignation, Fenaka on Sunday expressed gratitude for the services Zuhury has provided to the company in the past.

Although he has stepped down from his position, no further details regarding his resignation have been disclosed.

Following the resignation of Muaz Mohamed Rasheed, who held the position of Managing Director of Fenaka, on 23 December 2024, the government appointed Major (Rtd.) Mohamed Najah to the position on the same day.

In his resignation letter sent to President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and the PCB, Muaz stated that he had worked with sincerity from the day of his appointment.

Muaz highlighted that despite facing numerous challenges in managing the company over the past year, they achieved desirable results in their efforts to provide uninterrupted services to the public.

The government has begun making changes to state-owned companies at a time when these companies are facing serious allegations of corruption. In this regard, major corruption issues have also surfaced at Fenaka.
