DSC won the National Volleyball Tournament
Dhivehi Sifainge Club (DSC) has won the National Volleyball Tournament organized by the Volleyball Association of Maldives (VAM).
The final match was played on Friday night at the indoor court of the Youth Center.
DSC won the championship trophy by defeating HDC Club in straight three sets during Friday’s final game.
When the two teams met in the league round of the tournament, DSC won after playing five sets.
HDC won the first set of the match 25-17. However, DSC won the second set 25-21. In the third set that followed, DSC won 25-16. The fourth set saw competitive play from both teams, with DSC winning the set 25-23.
HDC had won the most recent National Volleyball League by defeating DSC in the final match. Before that, HDC also won the VAM Association Cup last year by winning against DSC.
