EyeCare revealed that this year their campaign revolved around raising awareness among the youth on the importance of eye care.

EyeCare Opticals has held a special campaign to mark World Sight Day.

The campaign titled “Love Your Eyes” was held at Artificial Beach on October 18.

Azma Abdul Fathah, Business Development and Marketing at EyeCare, highlighted that the event held in connection with World Sight Day, celebrated on October 10, received a positive response from the public.

She said that EyeCare held the event to coincide with World Sight Day.

Marked internationally, the World Sight Day is dedicated to raise awareness about the significance of eye health.

She said that the activities were planned for October 18, after considering the weather conditions.

She highlighted that they held the event on the theme "Importance of Children's Eye Health".

She shared details of the activities that took place during the event including free screening services and consultation services.

EyeCare revealed that this year their campaign revolved around raising awareness among the youth on the importance of eye care.

EyeCare’s expert ophthalmologists were on hand for interactive Q&A sessions.

Customers were entitled to free eye screenings at the event, as well as health consultations offered by the Diabetes Society of Maldives.

EyeCare highlighted that this was a great opportunity for families to ensure their eyes and overall health are in “top shape”.

Further, there was a dedicated stall by ‘Israhvehinge Naadhee’ at the campaign, where information about the organization's activities was shared. They also facilitated on-site registration for those interested in joining their initiatives.

The event saw a range of engaging activities specifically for children including face painting, coloring stations and live entertainment. Promising something for every young artist and performer, the event also saw children offered special gifts which added more excitement to the festivities.

In addition to this, in a bid to make the experience more rewarding EyeCare offered a discount voucher for every participant.

The event held in collaboration with the Diabetic Association of Maldives, Malé City Council and with the help of ADK Hospital.
