Changes brought to the cabinet

Dr. Mohamed Shafeeq, who held the position of Minister of Finance in President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s Cabinet of Ministers, has been dismissed from the position.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Moosa Zameer has replaced Shafeeq as Finance Minister.

Dr. Abdulla Khaleel, who was serving as the Minister of Health, has since been appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Further, as part of the changes being brought to the president’s Cabinet of Ministers on Monday, Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim who was a Minister at the President’s Office, has been appointed as the Minister of Health.
