A dead body has been fished out from the lagoon of Kulhudhuffushi City.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that the body was recovered from the lagoon of the northern city.
However, the police institution did not disclose any further information regarding the case.
MPS noted that they are conducting further investigations into the matter and that they will share more information with the public as it becomes available.
A body has been found in Kulhudhuffushi City at a time a person was discovered inside a guesthouse in Henveiru-ward of the congested capital Malé City recently. In addition to this, a woman was recently found slain in Holhudhoo island of Noonu atoll as well.
