A man is being located to be presented before court in an ongoing case.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that the suspect is wanted in connection with a case filed at the Civil Court.
The publication was issued as the authorities’ efforts to locate the suspect and present him before court have been to no avail so far.
The court has ordered MPS to locate the man, take him into police custody and present him before court.
Being located in connection with the case is Ali Moosa, 64 and native to capital Malé City.
He is to be taken into police custody and presented before the Civil Court at 09:30am on 17 July 2024.
The public has been urged to reach out to the Police Custodial Department through 9991442 if any information regarding the whereabouts of the suspect, is attained.
The police institution took the opportunity to express gratitude to the public, for the immense support and assistance received in connection with such cases.
