A probe has been launched into the assault of a minor in the corridor of a Hiyaa tower.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that the case of assault on a minor was filed with them on June 19.
The police institution is currently investigating the case further.
Police revealed that they have not been able to identify the suspects accused of assaulting the minor, inside the corridor of a Hiyaa tower in Hulhumalé Phase II, so far.
The public has been urged to reach out to authorities if they attain any information that could be useful in the investigation.
In the video that has been circulating on social media, a group of teenagers is seen beating up another teenager.
