New members have been appointed to the Employment Tribunal.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu made the appointment on Monday, during a special ceremony held at the President's Office.

Appointed on Monday were new members, a president and a vice president of the Employment Tribunal.

Ishag Hussain was appointed as the new President of the Employment Tribunal.

President Muizzu appointed Fathimath Mahyra Mohamed as the new Vice President of the Employment Tribunal.

The members appointed to the Employment Tribunal were Shaheema Saleem, Ishara Abdul Azeez, and Sausan Ali.

Their oath of office was administered by Supreme Court Justice Ali Rasheed Hussain.

The new appointees were conferred their Letters of Appointment by the president after the oath taking ceremony.
