Discussions have been held on the ongoing development projects initiated by the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) in Maldives.

The discussions took place during a meeting held between Bilateral Secretary Dr. Hala Hameed and Director General of CIDCA Shou Hailong.

The meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday.

The meeting saw discussions revolving around ways to enhance the bilateral ties enjoyed between the two countries.

Bilateral Secretary Hala and CIDCA’s Director General engaged in extensive discussions regarding the ongoing development projects initiated by CIDCA in the Maldives.

Bilateral Secretary Hala expressed gratitude to the CIDCA Director General as well as the government of China, for the continued assistance extended to the economic development of the island nation.
