President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has called on the public to perform the five daily prayers on time and to prevent the Fajr prayer congregations from dwindling.
The president made these remarks while speaking at the official function to commemorate Huravee Day, held at the Maldives Centre for Social Education (MCSE), on Saturday evening.
At the ceremony, the President stated that his administration was committed to promoting and achieving victory for the Islamic faith and its morals.
The President reiterated his wishes for all Maldivians to follow the sacred precepts of Islam.
President Dr. Muizzu added that more people turning to congregational prayer would increase the country’s blessings, joy and collective strength. He stated that it was his heartfelt wish for every Maldivian family to enjoy the blessings of Fajr prayers.
