Hamid Shafeeq has been appointed as the Deputy National Security Advisor at the President’s Office.
The new appointee served the armed forced for 33 long years. When Hamid retired from the armed forced, he was at the Major General’s rank.
The appointment was made at deputy minister level.
The honorable Hamid’s retirement from the armed forces, came on December 12.
He also served as the Deputy Director General of the National Counter Terrorism Center.
