Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef has visited the Permanent Mission of Maldives in Geneva.
The Maldivian vice president conducted the visit as part of the Maldivian vice president’s official visit to Geneva, Switzerland, to participate in the high-level event to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (Human Rights 75).
The high-level Human Rights 75 event was held from December 11 – 12.
VP Latheef was welcomed at the Permanent Mission of Maldives in Geneva by Ambassador of the Maldives to the United Nations in Geneva Dr. Asim Ahmed.
Upon arrival, the vice president signed the visitor's book.
He also inquired about the well-being of the staff.
The vice president was briefed regarding the services and work of the permanent mission of Geneva, during the visit.
