Kolamaafushi "Raasthaa" boat makes generous donation to Palestine
“Raasthaa” boat from Kolamaafushi island of Gaaf Alif atoll, has made a generous donation to the people of Palestine.
Crew members of the Kolamaafushi boat donated a total of MVR 127,433 in aid to the people of Palestine.
This sum is the total amount earned through the boat’s catch on Thursday, weighing up to seven tons.
The donation has since been handed over to the Kolamaafushi island council.
In addition to this, “Sea horse 3” boat from Kanduhulhudhoo island of Gaaf Alif atoll also made a donation worth MVR 50,000 in aid to the people of Palestine.
This amount was made through the boat’s catches of two out of 50 tonnes.
