The completed projects inaugurated on Monday include new office buildings of FENAKA Corporation on both islands as well as a new powerhouse established on Kumundhoo.
The government has reached a significant milestone in bringing development to the region with the completion of these projects, expected to provide immense benefits to local communities.
Featuring a spacious, state-of-the-art facility with modern designs and functionality, the new FENAKA offices in both islands have the capacity to accommodate up to 30 employees.
Further, the new powerhouse established in Kumundhoo has the capacity to generate 1,000 kilowatts of power, in turn providing a reliable energy source for the island residents and assist in resolving the multiple issues faced by the community.
The newly established powerhouse is expected to improve the quality of life of the island community and back the continued development of the island.
The government-led initiatives have ensured that the quality of life of island residents has been enhanced and they have been empowered to lead dignified lives.
President Solih has been officially inaugurating several development initiatives that have been completed across the scatter of islands comprising the Maldives, as part of his campaign tours.
