Police seek public help in locating two people suspected of theft

A search has been launched for two individuals, suspected to be involved in a case of theft.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) publicized a CCTV footage of the alleged theft in a Twitter post on Monday.
The CCTV footage published by the police institution shows two men, one dressed in a red t-shirt and grey pants and the other in a blue t-shirt and grey shorts, carrying four steel poles out of Elite Pharmacy building.
MPS has sought assistance from the public to identify and locate the two individuals captured on the CCTV footage.
The police institution revealed that the two are believed to be involved in the theft, where four steel poles were stolen from a house in Maafannu district of Malé City.
The public has been urged to reach out via 3322111 or the Maafannu Police at 9660183 if any information of the identification of the two suspects, is attained.
MPS has assured that anonymity will be maintained and that public cooperation is greatly appreciated in ensuring the safety and security of the community.
The police institution took the opportunity to express gratitude for the immense public assistance and support received in connection with such cases in the past.
