New directors and a chairperson have been appointed to the board of directors of Bank of Maldives (BML).
The country’s national bank announced the appointment of new directors and a chairperson to its board on Tuesday.
With the recent appointments, the directors nominated by the government and appointed to the board include Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Karl Stumke, Yooshau Saeed, Aishath Noordeen, Juwairiya Saeed, Abdulla Hassan, Abdulla Husam Shareef and Aishath Sajnee.
Further, BML revealed that Ibrahim Mohamed, Ahmed Mohamed and Abdulla Naseem were appointed as the three directors elected by public shareholders.
BML revealed that Yooshau Saeed has been reappointed as the Chairperson of its Board of Directors.
