The newly appointed Ambassador of Czech Republic to the Republic of Maldives, Dr. Eliška Žigová has paid a courtesy call on the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Khaleel.
The Czech Ambassador met with State Minister Khaleel at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Monday.
During the meeting, State Minister Khaleel congratulated Ambassador Žigová on her appointment and discussed about enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
As such, discussions were held on areas such as trade and economic ties and cooperation in the fields of tourism, education, and agriculture.
State Minister Khaleel and Ambassador Žigová also reflected on the strong partnership between the two countries in the multilateral fora.
State Minister Ahmed Khaleel was accompanied by Secretary Bilateral Dr. Hala Hameed and Desk Officer Saifulla Waleed.
