Body of missing youth found in Kanduhulhudhoo lagoon

The body of the youth who went missing on Friday, has been discovered in the lagoon of Kanduhulhudhoo Island in G.A. Atoll.
Jaamin Abdulla, 24 years of age, identified by the president of Kanduhulhudhoo Council, Thoriq Afeef, the youth went missing after he left his home at around 04:25 am, for fajr prayer.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) disclosed that he was reported missing to the authority at around 04:45 am.
MPS stated that the body of the youth was discovered during search efforts in Kaduhulhudhoo lagoon alongside his motorbike.
MPS stated that the Kaduhulhudhoo Health Center declared him already dead when brought to the center.
MPS is investigating the case further.
