The construction of the ferry hut for the ferry stop established in Kumundhoo island of Haa Dhaal atoll, has been completed.
The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) wrapped up the project on Sunday.
In a Twitter post, the company revealed that they have completed the construction of the ferry hut in Kumundhoo and that the ferry hut was established under the purview of the “Raajje Transport Link” (RTL) Zone One.
MTCC revealed that they began the construction work on June 1.
Under the scope of the project, MTCC was required to build a kiosk as well as a waiting area for passengers.
A row of public toilets was also installed under the initiative.
The ferry stop was built under “Integrated National Public Ferry Network” project facilitating RTL Phase One Zone One.
