Hulhudhoo Harbor Development Project close to completion

S. Hulhudhoo Harbor Development Project is well underway, says Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

MTCC disclosed that 94 percent of the project is now completed.

Additionally, the company highlights that the third shipment of rock boulders required for the project have been delivered to the site.

MTCC says that the construction work of the revetment is currently ongoing.

The Harbor Development Project of Hulhudhoo include, 88,623cbm of new harbor basin dredging operations, construction of a 742m quay wall, a 50m breakwater and a 25m groyne.

Scope of works also include installation of harbor pavement, construction of a bridge, a ramp, and installation of harbor lights.

The value of the project is MVR 66.3 million.
