Private educational institutions play an integral role in national development, says Vice President Faisal Naseem.

The vice president said this in his speech at the graduation ceremony for 2021–2022 of Kangaroo Kids International Preschool held at Dharubaaruge on Sunday.

As such, taking the podium at the event the vice president highlighted that the contributions of private educational institutions are “instrumental” to the incumbent administration’s plans to diversify the teaching environment.

Further, VP Naseem also shed light on enhancing the joint efforts by public and private educational institutions to further the island nation’s education system.

VP Naseem went on to urge parents, guardians, teachers, and the whole community to set good examples for children to protect them from negative influences, stressing that children often learn by imitation.

The Islanders Education, which runs Kangaroo Kids International Preschool, presented the vice president with a plaque of appreciation.

The ceremony, which saw students from 11 different classes graduating, also saw VP Naseem conferring certificates to the graduates of the class of 2021–2022.
