The government has completed the fifth session of the "Executive Enhancement and Enrichment Programme (EEEP) 2021-2023.”
The session was hosted at the Central Auditorium of the Maldives National University (MNU) Business School by the Public Service Training Unit, Cabinet Office of the President’s Office jointly with the Civil Service Training Institute (CSTI) on Wednesday.
It was held with the assistance of the Dhivehi Bahuge Academy.
The session was facilitated by Adam Naseer Ibrahim, who is a lecturer at the Islamic University of Maldives (IUM) and a leading linguistics expert. He is also an experienced trainer in public speaking and poetry.
The session was themed around the appropriate, respectful and effective use of the Dhivehi language in formal correspondences and communications.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih launched the Executive Enhancement and Enrichment Programme on 27 December 2021.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony the president noted that the programme will greatly assist in the administration’s efforts to reform, improve and deliver public services.
The two-year programme intends to enhance the skills and capabilities of political and executive staff in management positions in the civil service and was initiated jointly by the Public Service Training Unit of the President’s Office and CSTI.
Local and international experts in relevant fields facilitate the sessions in the two-year training programme.
