Bank of Maldives introduced BML Islamic Mastercard Business Debit Card
BML Islamic has launched their Mastercard Business Debit card.
BML highlights the new Mastercard Business Debit card as an all-new payment solution for its business customers.
The Bank states that their new card provides easy access to business accounts, and enables customers to manage business expenses and gain control over cash-based transactions.
The card can be used for both local and foreign transactions.
Additionally, the bank states that the new Mastercard Business Debit card is enhanced with the latest security features as with other cards issued by them.
CEO and Managing Director of BML, Tim Sawyer said that the bank is delighted to launch the new payment mechanism as part of their aim to support growing businesses with the right banking solutions. He said that the new Mastercard Business Debit card from BML's Shari’ah compliant banking arm supports businesses go digital and drives the adoption of cashless payments which many businesses are seeking.

As such, they have established nationwide network of 35 branches across all 20 atolls, 80 Self-Service Banking Centers, 138 ATMs, over 200 agents and a full suite of Digital Banking services.
