Dhiraagu records net profit of MVR 195.8 million in the second quarter
Dhiraagu made MVR 660.1 million in revenue during the first quarte
The clear profit made during the second quarter exceeds that of the first quarter
Dhiraagu has recorded a net profit of MVR 195.8 million in the second quarter of 2021.
In the quarterly report publicized by Dhiraagu, the company generated MVR 230.6 million as revenue before tax during the second quarter of the year. An amount of MVR 34.8 million was taxed.
The net profit decreased by 11 percent when compared to the first quarter of this year.
Dhiraagu made MVR 660.1 million in revenue during the first quarter. With MVR 38.6 million taxed, the company made a net profit of MVR 219.7 million in the first quarter of the year.
Despite the fact that the first quarter thrived financially more than the second, initial expenses went down during the second quarter. Dhiraagu reports that the cost of expenses sat at MVR 299.1 million during the first quarter, decreasing to MVR 283 million in the second.
