Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has extended the working hours across their centers.

MIRA’s Taxpayer Service Center and Hulhumalé Collection Center extended their service hours starting from August 1. Thereby, tokens will be issued at 8am and will continue until 3pm for tax payments and other payments. The registration counter of the Taxpayer Service Center will also be issuing tokens until 3:30pm.

MIRA also informed that instead of issuing tokens directly from the service centers, they would now be issuing tokens through a mobile application, 'QueueBee'. However, if customers are unable to schedule an appointment this way, they are instructed to call 3020460.

Since it is possible to make all types of payments online, considering the importance of social distancing during the ongoing pandemic, MIRA aims to provide all their services online. Furthermore, incase of emergency MIRA instructed customers to call their hotline 1415 or send a message via Viber to 9821415.
