Addu Emergency Operations Center has revealed that a total of 500 Covid-19 infections have been discovered so far in the southernmost city, with 445 recoveries confirmed by sundown on Thursday.
Latest statistics by the Addu Emergency Operations Center revealed that between 6pm Wednesday and 6pm Thursday, 162 samples had been tested for coronavirus across the city. Out of them, one sample returned positive for coronavirus.
Of the 500 Covid-19 cases, 445 patients have since observed full recoveries. There are currently 53 active coronavirus cases in the southernmost city, of which 47 are in Hithadhoo district and six are in Maradhoo. Currently, three Covid-19 patients are hospitalized for treatment.
Two Covid-19 fatalities have been reported from Addu City so far.
Healthcare authorities have so far collected 11,402 samples for Covid-19 testing in Addu City.
The Addu Emergency Operations Center has urged city residents to test for Covid-19 if they develop Covid-19 symptoms, without delay.

Of the 124 samples collected from the city over the past 24 hours, one person tested positive.

A total of 17،471 samples have been collected for coronavirus testing across the southern city thus far, with the results for 135 of them, pending.

Fuvahmulah City currently has 20 active covid-19 cases, including 16 Maldivians and four expatriates. Three Covid-19 patients are currently hospitalized for treatment.

5,888 persons in Fuvahmulah have received first doses of the Covid-19 vaccination, with those having been fully vaccinated reaching 3,445.
