The deadline for nominations for the National Awards 2021 has been set at May 27.
In an announcement on Monday, the President’s Office revealed that the final deadline for forwarding nominations will be 2pm on May 27, a Thursday.
The government began accepting nominations for this year’s National Awards during March 2021.
National Awards 2021 will be presented in 33 categories similar to previous years.
Nominees for the National Awards may be submitted through the nomination forms designated for the purpose and state institutions, offices, independent institutions, companies, associations, and individuals may propose nominations.
The deadline to propose nominations has been set at 2pm, May 27 and nomination forms have been made available from the President’s Office front desk during official working hours. Further, interested individuals may also download the nomination forms from the official website.
Completed nomination forms are required to be addressed to the National Awards Committee or sent via email to [email protected].
The President’s Office will begin accepting nominations on Tuesday and will continue to do so until the deadline approaches, every working day between 9am and 2pm.
Applicants are instructed to make sure to submit all necessary documents along with the nomination forms.
This year’s National Day function is expected to be held in accordance to the guidelines and precautionary measures set as a safeguard against the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
