Ramadan 1441 was welcomed by muslim communities worldwide at a time the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic has been sweeping steadily across the globe. Albeit Muslim communities having hoped to greet the fasting month in the complete absence of the pandemic, the situation is yet to simmer down. Some Maldivians have to break their fast in quarantine facilities and the government has given the assurance that adequate arrangements have been made.
