At the conference, President Solih congratulated PM Modi for his re-election and said that it was a pleasure and a privilege to receive the Prime Minister in Maldives for his visit abroad since his re-election.

President Solih and PM Modi inagurated two projects on Saturday; MNDF's Composite Training Center in Maafilaafushi and the Coastal Surveillance Radar System

Six Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) exchanged between Maldives and India during PM Modi's trip, including in the health sector, the economy, capacity building for civil servants, improving expertise in the economic sector, white shipping, and hydrography.

Both governments to begin signing various agreements at 5:30 pm.

PM Modi is now at the President's Office, for delegation level talks with President Solih.

Indian Prime Minister also signed the visitor's book at the President’s Office.

Upon his arrival in the capital city, Modi was given a 21 gun salute as well a guard of honor.

Indian PM Modi has arrived in capital city Malé at 4pm.

President Solih gave him a warm welcome at the jetty.

They are set to hold delgation-level discussions afterwards.
