A foreigner has been discovered dead in Kurinbi island of Haa Dhaal atoll.
A local media outlet cited the island council having revealed that the deceased has been identified as an Indian national who was a teacher at the island’s school.
The teacher is to have been reported missing after she was last spotted walking out of her house wrapped in sheets.
The woman is to have been found dead an hour later, and she was pronounced dead upon arrival at the island’s health center.
