A 42-year-old Bangladeshi man has been arrested in relation to the case

An expatriate man has been stabbed and killed by another expat on the island of Th. Veymandoo.
The man died while receiving treatment for wounds sustained in the stabbing at 11:59 on Sunday. The fight had broken out between two expatriate workers who were collecting baitfish aboard a sea vessel, and had ended with one expat stabbing the other with a sharp object.
Police confirmed having received a report of this incident at 03:50am on Sunday.
The injured expatriate had been taken to Th. Veymandoo Hospital for treatment, where he had passed away at around noon on Sunday, the hospital confirmed.
A 42-year-old Bangladesghi man has been arrested as Police continue their investigation into the case.
