Safiyya Mohamed Saeed has been appointed as a Deputy Minister of Health.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih made the appointment on Thursday.
The new appointee served as the Assistant Director at the President’s Office, prior to her appointment to the post of Deputy Health Minister.
Safiyya has a Master of Arts in International Relations in Diplomacy, attained from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom.
The new Deputy Health Minister also has a Bachelor of Science in (Joint) Business Studies and Japanese Studies from Cardiff University, United Kingdom.
