Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened a self-service banking ATM center in Dhigurah island in Alif Dhaalu atoll.
As part of its efforts to support the island communities, BML opened the center in Dhigurah island on Friday.
While the bank continues work to expand its services in outlying atolls, it had said that the ATM centers being established in the islands are state-of-the-art and multi-functional. These centers will support individuals and businesses in depositing and transferring money on a round-the-clock basis, in addition to the general cash withdrawal service.
The bank now has ATM centers in three islands of Alif Dhaalu atoll; Dhigurah, Mahibadhoo and Maamigilli.
BML opened self-service ATMs in Thimarafushi island of Thaa atoll and Ukulhas island of Alif Alif atoll last month.
The national bank said that these investments are an “integral part” on their ongoing investment program to support local communities by providing banking services, nationwide.
