Bank of Maldives has opened a self-service banking ATM center in Thimarafushi island of Thaa atoll.
In an effort to continue supporting communities across the country and expand its network, the country’s national bank opened the self-service banking ATM center in Thimarafushi on Wednesday.
With this addition, the bank currently has ATM centers in three islands of Thaa atoll as well as branches in Veymandoo and Guraidhoo.
These centers will support individuals and businesses in depositing and transferring money on a round-the-clock basis, in addition to the general cash withdrawal service.
The national bank stated that these investments are an “integral part” on their ongoing investment program to support local communities by providing banking services, nationwide.
These investments will “benefit the people and businesses of this island to bank conveniently without having to travel to nearby branches” said BML.
It also provided the additional benefit for customers in neighboring islands.
BML remains committed to support individuals, businesses and communities across the nation, with a nationwide network of 38 branches across all 20 atolls, 61 self-service banking centers, 124 ATMs, over 200 agents and a full suite of digital banking services.
