BML announced that the online token services have been introduced to provide services at the main branch, customer service center, Malé Business Centre, Hulhumalé Branch, Villimalé Branch as well as the BML Islamic Branch.

Online tokens will be available from 8am to 12pm via the QueueBee app, only on banking days, said the bank.

With this development, customers may request for token for services that are unavailable via ATMs or online channels. Further, customers may check the queue of customers ahead before visiting the branches.

Further, the bank revealed that they will discontinue issuing printed tokens and customers may enter the premises they are seeking services from, when the number of customers waiting ahead, reaches two.

At a time the online token system has been introduced by the bank, the essential services the bank offer online include international transfer, payroll processing, local bank transfers, mPOS application and cheque processing for ATM cheques.

In addition, the bank revealed that elderly customers and those who require special assistance will be served at branches and service centers without the need for online tokens or prior appointments.

BML has established a banking network across the entire Maldives with 38 branches, 56 self-service banking centers, 119 ATMs, 277 cash agents as well as the latest technology in banking services across 20 different atolls.
