A patient being treated for COVID-19 in the DH-11 facility has been transferred following significant improvement.

Dr. Ibrahim Afzal revealed this at the National Emergency Operations Center (NEOC)’s nightly press briefing on Wednesday.

He said that there are currently five Covid-19 patients admitted at DH11, adding that a 58-year-old woman receiving treatment had been moved after her condition improved.

Two men have been placed on a ventilator. While authorities on Tuesday revealed that a 70-year-old has been placed on a ventilator, an 88-year-old has been on a ventilator since Sunday following complications.

An 80-year-old man is also being given oxygen support. Two others being treated at Dharumavantha Hospital, an 80-year-old woman and 48-year-old man (foreigner), are in stable condition.
